Education Autobiography
Life Because of School
Ever since I started school when I was 3 years old, I’ve always had teachers who
believed in me and always told me that I could be anything that I put my mind to. Each
of them left an impact on me and helped me to believe in myself at all times even when
I felt like giving up. I went to schools in Lantana, FL, Lake Worth, FL and in Boynton
Beach, FL so I got to see different areas and in my opinion they where all quiet and a
great surrounding for a school setting. I always felt safe whenever I was at school and I
always knew I had a quality education throughout the years. Each school I went to gave
me amazing memories, new friends, and life lessons!
In preschool I went to Barton Freg Academy. It was a private school that taught
us school things but also about the Bible and then different lessons within it. Although I
barely remember those days now, I know that they were the foundation of my
education. I’ve always believed that preschool sets the tone, if you have a outstanding
preschool experience then you will be more inclined to actually want to continue on and
enjoy every moment after preschool is over. I still see one of my teachers from back
then every now and then. She still remembers me and always gives me an encouraging
word too! This warms my heart because I know that I was a star student even if I don’t
remember most of it, simply because of the smile that comes across her faces when
she sees me.
In elementary school, I went to Poinciana Elementary School, it was a S.T.E.M
school. My cousin was a teacher there so my first year, I remember him coming to
check on me and making sure I didn’t cry throughout the day. My first few weeks my
mom used to tell if everyday if I didn’t cry she would buy me ice cream after school.
Somedays it worked and somedays the fear of being at a new school won. During my
time there I was apart of the PNN which was our morning news; we learned how to work
cameras, video editing, and also adding backdrops to our videos as well. It was a fun
experience for me, I even got to be one of the news casters a couple of times as well.
That was my most memorable experience besides becoming a safety patrol in 5th
