Motivation is a general desire or a power which triggers people for a goal and direct
them to achieve their aims. Everyone needs motivation so that the needs and aims are achieved.
At this point, it can be stated that there is two kinds of motivation that set us in a motion. While
meeting our needs, intrinsic motivation results from triggering our resources such as attention,
ability and competency. A person who goes to gym and usually make exercises for satisfying the
need of being happy could be a good example of intrinsic motivation. Following example is
what I had experienced when I was a math teacher in Turkey. Ela, one of my students in
elementary school, liked to read different kinds of books. She was able to entirely read two or
