Topic and Rationale
My vast interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has accumulated over the
years as I have watched, and continue to be involved with my younger brother Jacob’s
journey through life. He was diagnosed with Autism when he was two years old, and
went to several therapists for many years ranging from Speech, Occupational, even
Aquatic therapy; that I was able to be a part of with him. There was even a time when
things got so out of hand that he had to be medicated just to attend school, after being
