“Surrounding us is a swirling hurricane of change. At a breathtaking pace, we’re seeing the culture
overthrow any semblance of biblical morality and a tide of immorality is taking its place. How
should Christians think (and teach their children to think!) about the hot-button issues of our day
such as gay “marriage,” transgenderism, racism, and the issues that are quickly on their way? By
starting our thinking with God’s Word in every area.” biblically and stand boldly for the gospel in
this presentation.
When you die you die. What is the purpose of anything they do? Our bodies die but we’re going
to live forever and were going there with god and God provided a way for us as sinners to come
back to be with him. We are confident in what we believe.
We are somehow intellectually challenged because we believe in God and His word. What
we think shapes who we are. That’s why the Bible tells us, “Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewal of your mind” Romans 12:2a. In a world of differing voices
competing for our allegiance, we must learn to “think biblically” so we can distinguish good from
evil. God is the Creator of this world; He voiceHis Wordmust guide our thoughts and our
lives.
What a privilege it is to represent Christ to the people around us! But I’ll be honest, living
according to God’s laws rather than the world’s customs does not come naturally to me. I need
God’s truth, found only in Scripture, to think biblically and the strength of the Holy Spirit to live
biblically. my weaknesses make me seek God and depend on Him for the transformation I need.
God wants to be in a growing relationship with us so much that He chose for our transformation
to be a process in which we continually seek Him. It is as we spend time seeking God, studying
His Word and applying it to our lives, that He begins to transform our minds. All of which sets the
stage for our holy makeover.
