Introduction
Critical thinking is thinking reflectively and productively and evaluating the evidence.
The purpose of this paper is to discuss 5 ideologies and tools that I would use in my new
teaching position at an urban school in Broward, Palm Beach, or Miami School District. The
tools, strategies, and ideologies I will apply to create a learning environment that improves
critical thinking are a) problem-solving b) social constructivist programs c) motivation d)
mindfulness e) management strategies.

There are many tool and strategies that I will use as pre-service teacher to create a
