Question #2
As a Human Resource Manage, I would advisee this with great care. Sexual harassment is
harassment in a workplace, or other professional or social situation, involving the making of unwanted
sexual advances. Sometimes it may include lewd jokes, sexually explicit posters, or sexual comments
at work. There are many side effects when enduring harassment, and most people result in physical and
psychological damage for those who are harassed. Usually the best way to conduct yourself as the
victim and inform the harasser is that he/she is unwelcome and must stop. After making some things
clear, if the advances don't stop, that's when I'll conduct my investigation.
I'd begin to look at the big picture, like the nature of the sexual harassment, and what happened
when the incidents occurred. First, I'd let the victim know that I will protect the confidentiality of their
claims to the best of my ability. I'd make every bit of information from the complaint, interviews, and
even records. I would need to make he/she comfortable and less stressed. It's also very important to
separate the alleged victim from the accused to guard against more harassment or confrontation. Next,
I'd begin my investigation with both the victim and the harasser. I'd start with the victim to go over
each detail at every harassment that has happened, and gather more evidence and witnesses. Clearly,
this has happened more than once to Ann, and I'd ask if she knew of anyone else who was harassed. I'd
also ask if she knew anyone else who has been harassed by Justin, how this harassment has affected
