How would you analyze the “soundscape” of a recording or physical space?
Soundscape is the sounds in a particular location, considered as a whole. Soundscape in music
could be described as the way the beats in the background make you feel and the influence being
played in the music. It also depends on the environment. A perfect example could be when you
and your friends are driving late at night blasting music with a futuristic beat. You could feel
goosebumps and maybe even start to sing along because of the tight environment and physical
space. Its night time and you are in a small car, so the beats and music will be much more
prominent in the car rather than listening to it on the computer alone in your bedroom.
