WATER SCARCITY
The world today is faced with many economic issues that affect people every single day.
A big problem I see happening is “water scarcity.” It’s already affecting tons of people in other
countries right now, and it’s only a matter of time before we see it all over the world, too. Water
scarcity is the lack of sufficient available water resources to meet the demands of water usage
within a region. No human, animal, or plant can live without water because it is essential for
everyday living. Without water, no livestock can be grown and land cannot be cultivated;
meaning no food. There’s no food without water. We need to do everything we can to wisely use
the most valued commodity in the world. It may not seem like a big issue right now, but it’s
going to be severe in the future.
