There are major differences when it comes to girls and boys maturing early. With each
sex, the change is viewed differently and accepted differently. The success on how an
adolescence approaches puberty is vital to parent communication and educating said child on
what changes are going on.
When a female begins to enter puberty, there are a lot of emotions that run wild with that
child and a lot of her success on having a positive attitude depends on her support system and
how she’s educated about it. Studies have shown that female children that mature early in life
that their peers actually view puberty as such a negative thing.
With Maria being one of the first students in her class to begin the transition into
adolescence, she is for sure going to start feeling left out of her social circle. Maria, will likely
develop the complex of an imaginary audience. With this she is likely to feel as if people are
always talking about her. She will start to feel that she’s the center of the latest gossip with her
friends as well as rumors. I know from personal experience I experience my puberty pretty much
at the normal age 12 years old however I remember classmates who spoke on earlier cycles as
well as kids I know today they are way less social and try to avoid small talk.
Maria, definitely will feel anxiety with this anxiety research has shown that she’s likely
to be depressed and feel poorly about herself when compared to her peers. This is likely because
many girls when they are going through their cycle do have emotional hormonal changes, we
