1. Simple introduce
When I saw the words ‘E-Government and E-Governance’, I thanked ‘they are very
similar’ and I don’t know what is different between E-government and E-governance.
Actually, when you ask the people “Do you know what is the different between
E-government and E-governance?” then almost of people, who are not majored in
information technology, doesn’t know the different like me and will be curious about this
and they will ask who know the answer that question.
Actually E-government and E-governance do not have certain difference but they have
ambiguous difference. Many people who are study E-government and E-governance talk
about E-government that can be compared to computer hardware, which is ODD, ROM,
RAM, Hard disk and E-governance can be compared to Software, which is Unix , window
or something.
To explain that mention, I will tell you three points. First, the definition of E-Government
and E-Governance, next I will talk about the difference of E-government and E-
Governance, and finally I will introduce about example of Korean E-government. Let`s
start with the definition of E-Government.
2. The definition and description of E-Government.
In the [i]‘United nations E-Government survey 2010’ which was published at United
Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs mentioned that E-Government is
defined as ‘‘the employment of the internet and the world-wide-web for delivering
