In the report of Daniel Berehulak
(2016), “They are Slaughtering us Like
Animals.” The murder scene and the
desperate cries of those relatives of
the victims who seek for the justice for
their loved ones. Who was lying face
down in the streets and was drenched
with their own blood that was killed by
anonymous men or police?
Over the 35 days of Daniel in the
Philippines he photographs almost 57
murder victims at 41 sites within Metro
Manila. He witnessed bloody scene
everywhere and the bodies were on
the streets with cardboard signs
labeling the victim as an addicts or
dealers. Some victims throwed on the
streets treating them like a dead
animal.
On the other hand, more than 35,600
people have been arrested due to the
fact that if they don’t surrender
themselves, they will also be being
killed without mercy. The policy of the
