Introduction
The successful growth of Douglas Fir trees is based on temperature and
precipitation. Selecting an area for planting Douglas fir trees may be determined
based on temperature and precipitation. In this study, two regions, 1 and 2, are
compared based on these two factors. Data for temperature and precipitation in these
regions are provided during a one-year period. A comparison of the data was made
and evaluated against the desired temperature and precipitation levels suitable for
Douglas Fir Trees. Means and ranges were computed and used as measures of
comparison in both of the regions. Conclusions and recommendations as to the
