Introduction– I was a HOSA officer and often gave speeches during the day in order
to inform students of the blood drive taking place on certain dates.While informing
students I often found students demanded to being persuaded to donate blood
because either they saw no importance,were not informed or were simply afraid.But
donating only takes 1 hr of your time and considering donating is a step towards
possibly saving someone’s life.
Body – Ⅰ. Need… On a daily basis people are admitted to hospitals and someone
needs blood,blood is a need not a ‘want’.Yet many people hardly think about
donating blood.
A. Blood is a necessity not a luxury.“Every 2 seconds Someone NEEDS It”
