Does a full moon actually affect people’s behavior? Some may say yes, but at the same
time some people may say no. According to a Roman scientist and military commander,
Pliny the Elder, he said, “because the full moon causes a very heavy nocturnal dew, it must
also make the brain more ‘unnatually moist.’” He believes that the full moon causes
epilepsy but he was wrong. Although today the belief that full moon does affect behavior
is common today. According to Dr. Karl from abc.net.au he mentions that one survey in the
USA found that about 40 per cent of the general population, and 80 per cent of mental
health professionals, believe that the phase of the Moon affects human behavior.
People believe that the full moon may affect our behavior but they may not because they

this myth is not true because studies show that there may be no link to between behavior
and the full moon. Mentioned in the article Can a Full Moon Affect Behaviour by Dr. Karl
he states, “And yet, 99+ percent of the evidence says that the Moon has no effect on
human behaviour.” Although there are researches about this there is a lot of proof that it
actually does not affect our behavior.
There have been studies about people’s health and mental problems but no on them seem
to have any connection to the full moon. According to Robert Roy Britt from
