On September 17th 2019 I watched the Full Concert of Swing Era Revolution In Rhythm Jlco
Wynton Marsalis on YouTube for my virtual concert it was at the Rose Theater. Marcus Printup
the composer, composed a lot Swing Era Classics. The instruments that were used in this
concert was trumpets, trombones, saxophone’s, clarinets, and flutes. The genre Marcus Printup
played was the timelessness of swing.
One of the first performances I saw was “In The Mood.” The composer was Joe Garland, and
the arranger was Eddie Durham. In the song there was saxophones and the saxophone started
