Do professionals such as accountants and lawyers have duties and obligations that other
people do not? From where would such duties come?
Well, this question is really interesting to me as my dad is one of lawyers in South Korea. I
think their duties and obligations are like special careers in world wide. Because who will
defend somebody, it is a privilege to do that. For my dad, he said that in the court, some
victim and suspect needs my dad’s help because they can’t defend themselves in the court.
As he learned the various laws and he is a lawyer, he should makes the judge for making a
correct decision, actually, even if somebody stands on the court, they are truly nervous,
and if the disabled people can’t express their faults, they need somebody’s help. If who
should defend them in there, the lawyer should do that! It is their duties and obligations.
For accountant, it’s going to be same, that is special profession. I think the duty is privilege
for them, by their ability, they can help over a man in a difficulty.
