1. Government regulators are so sensitive to the number of claims submitted because
reimbursement for goods given to government programs customers are funded by the
taxpayers. This causes companies such as DMS to have order fulfillment with the
customer but submit billing requests for reimbursement from the government. This
allows companies to potentially submit false claims and receive money they do not need,
all funded by the people.
2. There can be two main reasons that I see:
a. There are additional mandates for serving customers of government programs
i. Verifying medical necessity
ii. Verifying eligibility
iii. Proof of delivery
