Being raised with divorced parents have proposed many struggles for me.
Being a single mother supporting two children proposed a even greater challenge for my
mother. Divorce is not some rarity in society. Sadly, over 50% of couples would vow “till
death do us part” never really end up parting at death. This is because families are resulting
to divorce when an issue arises. So what is marriage if it does not mean anything when a
divorce is an acceptable action in society? What are the effects on children from divorce?
Why has the divorce rate increased over the years? These are all great questions that will
be covered.
“Till death do us part” is a phrase thousands of people say daily although is this really the
case? Is it really till death or is itwhenever you chose to? Divorce rates just about a century
ago divorce rates were a mere 10% now in 2015 divorce rates are soaring above 50% why
is this one may ask? This could be attributed to many things such as moving into together
before marriage. This can result in staying together only because it is too hard to break up
financially and splitting cost of the home. This being the case one may be getting married
to the wrong person just because he or she does not want to go through the trouble of
housing arrangements. If this is the case a couple may get married and then divorce later
