1. Diversity Expressed Through Literature After WWII
After World World II had ended in 1945, diversity through literature had began to
flourish. Why did this increase in diversity of literature happen you may ask? After the war had
ended, a new generation of writers began to take shape and with that came a different conformity
of literature. The people of this new generation had different ethnic, social, and regional
differences than past novelists, poets, and play writers etc. Many of these new writers had been
immigrants including African Americans, Jews, and eventually women who began to diversify
literature. The new generation of writers began to compose works with a new style that many
