After reviewing the course objectives, I believe that each objective will support my
success in management. For instance, being able to recognize situations where potential
ethical and legal issues are present, I can better understand how to handle those matters. As
a leader having high ethical standards and providing the necessary training and tools to
educate ethical awareness encourages employees and organizations to meet that same
level. Communication is imperative in any business relationship. To lead others, you must
display effective communication skills otherwise there will be lack of credibility to
implement employee objectives and it will be a struggle to rally teams needing support.
Employees who struggle on the job naturally look to managers for guidance to solve their
problems. Managers who communicate well become good problem solvers which is an
essential skill to function well and play a big role in the day to day activities of a business.
By analyzing how technology impacts a business, I can better determine which tools can
be used to lead my team and organization. Technology is key for communication as well as
growing and expanding businesses. Technology, whether its email, video conferencing, or
telecommunications, is the element to communicate to both employees and customers.
Technology allows you to reach more potential customers and develop relationships. It
