In the beginning of George HW Bush’s Address, he explains that Saddam Hussein was given
multiple chances to pull out of Kuwait, instead he did not. This lead the United States to officially
begin an attack against Hussein. It turns out the United Nations learned about Hussein
manufacturing weapons of defense. This includes nuclear weapons and The United Nations
finally had to step in. The policy that Bush introduces is “The New World Order”. Not only did the
attack on Saddam Hussein save many civilians in Kuwait. It also showed the rest of the world
that the US was not playing when it came to terrorism. Leading me to believe the actions that
George Bush and our administration took to protect the US and other nations against terrorism
can be completely defended.
