1. Is greed a good or bad thing? Can it be good in some cases and bad in others?
Defend your answer. I think greed CAN be a good thing but is dependent on the
situation. A lot of times, greed is what drives people to be successful. No one really
thinks of working hard just so they can live an average lifestyle day to day. Usually, they
have extravagant dreams in their minds that consist of high end living with big houses
and shiny cars. While they don’t need those things, most people desire that kind of
living. With that said, people always want more than what’s needed, which is really what
greed is. So long as it doesn’t become a factor in someone’s life that is detrimental to
their own, or others well being than there isn’t an issue with it. We live in a country that
allows us to continue to grow in our careers and reach for things that other countries
think to be impossible, and we should take advantage of that.

this way? Looking back, would you have acted differently or were your feelings

argue that this is a misconception of greed. Can people be greedy without
infringing on others’ rights?
