Introduction
Global information systems management is driven by a structured Business Process Management
(BPM). The BPM is mainly characterized by centralized decisions and strict control by parent
company.
1. Technology Issues:
i) “Software”, when everyone is using same software globally, if something breaks due
to poor management and software application stopped working, it will affect all the
business globally.
ii) Due to poor system management, there can be “connectivity” issues.
iii) System Integration could be huge problem when there is a lack of management.
iv) Managing global software development can be an issue due to unstructured SDLC
process.
