Dinner Time
Imagine that you spent the whole afternoon preparing dinner. A dinner that took you a lot
time in the kitchen. Your idea was to surprise your family because you know that it is the dish that
all the members of the family enjoy but when serving dinner, you realize that not all members of
your family are present, some family members are students and they have projects to do for school
or to practice for some sport; meanwhile, others are present but as if they were not because they
are so entertained with the cell phone that they really are not paying attention to that moment.
Also, parents who have jobs outside the home are often worried about the preparation they need
to have work ready before going to work the next morning. Parents are more distracted than
normal. According to this, with the passage of time the family dinner has been lost. Time in which
families enjoyed to talk about what they had lived during the day has changed over time. Now
many parents and young people sit at the tables to eat but as never before cannot miss their faithful

together but it affects emotional health and also physical health. This loss of family dinner times
together is unfortunate. Family dinner can change the health and can also improve the relationship

emotional health. In recent years, we see that for many people eating without the cell phone in
their hands is a problem. Young and even parents eat without leaving the cell phone. It is clear that
not all the schedules or distance between the occupations of each day makes it possible to carry
out a dinner so It is important to solve these and have a clear idea in how to solve this new trend
that have been improve more of the time.
Having a family dinner can improve the relationship between families in many
investigations and studies have shown that people who have a good diet and good communication
are very likely to have good communication with their families and are more able to communicate
the situations in which they live. In the article “Food, Fun and Conversation about things that
Matter,” Dr. Anne Fishel points out that dialogue during meals provides an opportunity for the
