What are the main issues in the case?
Diana was a general manager and she wanted to become a district manager. To achieve her goal, she
managed her restaurant completely by the book and she meticulously adhered to policies and
procedures and rigorously controlled expense. Because of it, her sales were growing and received
relatively few customer complaints. However, it was high standards for herself and her employees.
She started to lose her employee and there has a gap between her and her employees. At the end, she
failed her goal, which means she did not get the district manager.
