Diary entry for time of story
Today my two best friends Ana and Allison told me they were taking me on a
surprise trip. They have never done something like this before so you can imagine
I was feeling somewhat confused. I don’t even know where were staying…it could
be a hotel, a house, a condo, but I really have no idea. I don’t really like to be
surprised, I like to know what’s going on. I didn’t even know what to pack which
really stresses me out. They told me the place were going is going to be a little
cold, which at this time of year could be anywhere. I am writing this as I sit in the
back seat of Ana’s Nissan Rogue. My bags are all packed in the trunk with some
stuff I just threw together because I was so unsure of what to pack. We did not
have school today which is a major plus. So far, we have been in this car for 45
minutes and I really would just like to know how much longer but guess what?
They won’t tell me! Allison took my phone and said I can’t have it the whole ride
there because I can use the Maps app to see where we are going. To be
completely honest that’s a brilliant idea and I didn’t even think to do that. They
are really going out of their way to make sure that I don’t know where were
headed. I had to wake up at 7:30 this morning to get ready because they wanted
to be on the road by 9:00. I had to get up so early because I had to finish packing
and plus it takes me a little while to get completely ready. I am not a morning
person though... I wish I could’ve slept in till at least noon but then again these
aren’t my plans. I really just hope this car ride isn’t longer than four hours because
I am getting a little bit impatient. The only thing I can do is write in my journal,
stare out the window, or take a nap. I think the next thing on my to do list is
