Descriptive Essay: Painting a Picture
It was 2 years ago on June 28, 2016 in Kahuna Falls, Maui, and today was the day I was
going to get to go snorkeling for the )rst time ever! The snorkel trip started at 8 o’clock in the
morning in the city of Lahaina, so my mother, father, best friend, and all woke up with the
beautiful Hawaii sunrise. As we packed our belongings for a day trip to the island of Lanai to
snorkel on part of the Hawaiian Coral Reef we made sure we were prepared for a day in the sun!
When we arrived to the Lahaina marina the 4 of us gathered the rest of the group on
