The Godfather
I Think for the time that the Godfather was created which was in 1972, it shows
outstanding acting and for the time special effects involving guns and blood were very
well done and believable. I would rate the Godfather a 4 out of 5. The reason for this is
because there were times I felt like the story could move on and did not need to be
involved at all. Such as the part of Michael Corleone leaving for Italy half way through
the story. I feel that didn't add anything that useful to the story besides the fact that he
need to hid out. I think that the story was very well put together in the long run, and very
mafia like. The story flowed every well and grab the attention of a lot of kids in class. It
keeps you on the edge of your seat while you watch it not knowing what is gonna
happen next. I think the best thing this film does is grab your attention and make you
believe what you are watching. After seeing the film for the first time I believe that it is
deserving of the #2 position on AFI's list. Is shows the history of New York in a Fictional
way but the mafia and rich family's did exist during these times. The film has the quality
of being a classic, Great American Film. I can see people watching this film in 100
