Democratic Debate Response Paper
The democratic debate on CNN from Tuesday October 13, 2015 was a hard debate to
watch and follow. Basically the democrat party is totally on the other side of my political
views so it was difficult for me to watch. I consider myself a God fearing America loving
patriot and I love our country, it was difficult for me to participate in this debate as I don’t
believe any of the parties involved share my same views and values. I did suffer through
the debate and I will post my comments in this submission and not just answer the
questions as apparently I did not understand the instructions on the last debate.
Anderson Cooper seemed to give soft questions, occasionally he would come up with one
such as the Clinton Email scandal, but that was a rarity. It seemed they all were more
concerned with the hoax of global warming and income inequality more than any other
serious issues.
The candidates did seem to answer the questions, but you cannot easily point out to a
strong statement from their answers, they all seemed like seasoned politicians and none
seemed to stand firm on any topic, other than Hillary Clinton saying she wanted paid
family leave for people.
After watching the debate, it is almost a unanimous conglomerate of identical views, every
candidate seemed to have the exact same views, almost as if they were reading their parties
talking points. I could not differentiate from one candidate to the next. All of the
