Delta Air Lines Company
Collett E. Woolman and the B. R. Coad founded Delta Air Lines Company as Delta Air
Service in 1928. The slogan of the enterprise was “Keep Climbing.” The company’s headquarters
is in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. It traded as DAL on NYSE. The current CEO of the company is
Richard H. Anderson (Nikolay et al., 2013). In 2000, the corporation initiated a change of its
three engine planes to two engine planes to reduce the expenses of the fuel. Now, the company
uses only the two engine planes with an exception of Boeing747 of the Northwest Airlines. In
2004, Delta Air Lines made re structuration known as The Clock Work Operation, which cuts the
workforce and even add about 100 flights from Atlanta. In addition, on 31 Jan. 2005, it locked
hub, locate in the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. However, on 14 September same year,
there was a declaration of the company about bankruptcy, and it had $20.5 billion in debts
