Das Eiserne Kreuz
In the short story Das Eiserne Kreuz many, if not all, of the different analytical tools were
used to make the story impactful. The three most outstanding tools me were irony, historical
reference, and psychological models. The culmination of these three tools brings together the
short story into a form of reality for the different followers and soldiers of Adolf Hitler to the
reader. Without these three tools the story would lose some of it substance because they act as
