Title: Darkness at Noon
In the story of Harold Krents, the author of Darkness at Noon describes one of the
common mistakes that every individual do to disabled people as well as the feeling of the person
being discriminated due to their disability. I believe that each individual living in this planet
needs to be educated that we should not harass nor discriminate a disabled person because we
have to realize that what we are doing to them have a long term effect in their lives.
Whenever we see a person with disability, sometimes we stare or even start to feel sorry
for them. Sometimes we think sorts of negative things or even start laughing. Occasionally,
instead of helping them, we are the one who usually let them feel that they are different. Often,
the societies where we live treat them differently or say harsh things that hurt them.
Harold was born blind. He never had the opportunity like what we have to see how he
