Introduction
Daniel G. Amen is an American psychiatrist and a specialist in brain disorder.
He is the director of the Amen Clinics. He has also been the bestselling author in the
New York Times. He specializes in psychiatric services; scan and imaging (Amen
n.d). His clinics offer medical services to people who have ADHD (attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder) he is the most popular psychiatrist in the United States today.
At the age of 58 years, Amen has managed to build his name as the popular
Psychiatrist for the Americans and the world. He is a brain imaging expert and the
most influential expert on mental health. He is the CEO and the founder of the Amen
Clinics that are located in different within the country. He has so many awards all
from his line of duty (Amen 3).
Education
Dr. Amen was born in 1954 in Encino, California to Lebanese immigrant
parents. He studied biology in his undergraduate from the University of Southern
California and graduated in 1978. He obtained his doctorate from the Oral Roberts
University medicine school four years later. He did a general training in psychiatric at

certified psychiatrist, a teacher, and the leading and the bestselling author in New
York Times. He has authored 55 professional articles and many other psychiatric
