My 1st amendment hero is Lhamo Thondup who is also known as The 14th
Dalai Lama. He is best known for being a spiritual leader of the Tibetan people. He
became the 14th Dalai Lama in 1950 at just 15 years old. The role of the Dalai
Lama isn’t something small. They are believed to be the reincarnation of
Avalokitesvara who is an extremely important Buddhist deity. They are also
believed to have postponed their own afterlife and chosen to take rebirth to
benefit humanity.
