Subject: Technological Competence – Cyber Security
Cybersecurity and management of the risks associated is increasingly becoming a focus
for organization leaders. As the technological needs of the organization grows, so does the need
for information technology infrastructure to protect its data from outside forces. Companies that
do not take their cybersecurity seriously or are lax to address the pain points within their
infrastructure make them vulnerable to cyberattacks. Cyberthreats are relevant to every
organization regardless of their industry and can cause significant impacts from both a brand and
financial perspective.
Over the last five years, several industries and individuals have become victims to cyber–
attacks which steals vital information from people to be sold for profit on black market.
Unfortunately, an end is not insight for these types of cyber-attacks, in fact the trend is expected
to increase over the coming years. Cyber security are the methods implemented by companies to
