Current Events Overview Paper
As I took this class, it made me realize how human interaction with the earth can affect
our planet. I have tried to live a healthy and safe as possible, but sometimes we do not realize
that things that we do are so harmful to our beloved planet. I have been aware of social injustices
that have been affecting our lives and those who are surrounded by us, but now that I have taken
this class, it made me realize that how important it is to be away from our planet and things that
are harmful to it. If the earth is destroyed, we are destroyed, as well. I have noticed that how
much destruction are caused by human beings to the planet we live in. For instance, where I live,
there are so much pollutions, traffic, insects that are destroying the beautiful SoCal or destruction
of the beautiful coral reef of Guam. All these subjects that I have written about have a reflective
effect on our society and the planet earth.
