controversy around the government asking Microsoft to buy their facial recognition
software. The government intends to use this facial recognition software to find the
looters who ruined local cities and businesses during the recent racial protests.

decided that we will not sell facial-recognition technology to police departments in the
United States until we have a national law in place, grounded in human rights, that will
