Cultures of Management
As I was reading the article on the three cultures of management I found it to be
very interesting when comparing it to my organization. I think that Sikorsky has many
areas of its organization that follows the three cultures. I will give you an example of
each area that follows a certain culture. I have only been at Sikorsky but after talking
with many people that have worked here for over twenty years; I would have to say that
Sikorsky used to have The Engineering Culture but currently leans more towards the
Executive Culture.
