The NRA says they stand up and protect our 2nd amendment rights, but they have a list of
gun dealers that continue to sell guns that are used in crimes that is not being used to help stop
guns getting in the wrong hands. More gun shops are in the United States than there are
McDonalds. Guns are being made using military assault weapons design but was changed just
enough to make it legal to sell in gun shops. Out of all guns made in the world, the United States
receives half of those guns. At gun shows people can buy as many guns as they want.
The Sandy Hook shooting where Adam Lanza killed 20 children, 6 teachers, and he got
these guns from his mother’s home where he killed her. He fired hundreds of rounds before he
killed himself. He used an AR-15 semi-automatic assault weapon that shoots 45 rounds per
minute. An estimated 3 million semi-automatic assault rifles on the market for sale.
The ATF can track guns sold back to the gun shops that sold them. About one percent of
all guns tracked only two thirds are used in crimes. The NRA sees it as a violation against the
right to bear arms even, and now the ATF is very limited to who they can share the crime gun list
with. This film is trying to explain the issues of guns that get in the wrong hands and that our gun
laws need to be revised.
