Critical thinking is a training process which incorporate with conceptualize, analyze,
synthesize and evaluate facts that has been gathered from reasoning, experience or
communication. Critical thinking involves of examination of elements which are thought to be
implicit in all kinds of reasoning. They include clarity, accuracy, precision and purpose among
others. Critical thinking can be defined precisely as the capacity to think rationally and clearly in
what an individual believes in (Lau, 2011). The definition also includes the ability of an
individual to think independently and reflectively.
Critical thinking is critical in the workplace especially for the employees in management
roles. This is because these individuals are usually faced with situations that require critical
