(2004-2010). The value of r = 0.8374, this indicates a strong positive correlation. Both groups
are reflected as 1=1.
The second spurious correlation that we found is: Divorce rates in Florida and murders
by hanging, strangulation, and suffocation. The years are 1999-2010, and the value of r =
0.918467. The divorce rate is per 1000 whereas each death is counted as 1. The correlation rate
implies there is a very strong positive association between the two groups.
The third spurious correlation that we found is: Number of people who drowned by
falling into a swimming pool and visitors to SeaWorld California. Deaths are reflected as 1=1
