Crime and Punishment Essay
Fyodor Dostoyevsky, the author of Crime and Punishment, utilizes split personalities in
his characters to support the idea that some form of punishment persists with every crime
committed. Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov, Katerina Ivanovna Marmeladov, and Pyotr
Petrovich Luzhin portray these conflicted natures and are no exception.
