Directions
The participation to this assignment is completely voluntary. If you decide to complete it,
you will receive fifteen (15) extra credit points.
Instructions
1. Review the goals on communication you set for this class at the beginning of the
semester and then answer the following questions:
a. Do you feel that you are making some progress towards the goals you
have set for yourself?
– Yes I believe that I am making progress to my goals in this class.
i. How so?
– Yes I do believe that I am making progress for this class. I
am so intimidated to speak in public of my peers, I do not
believe that I am a good public speaker, I am shy.
ii. Please provide concrete examples.
– A few examples would be that I actually am taking the
class and finished my very first speech. It was extremely
hard to do this even with it being recorded and sent to the
professor. It was very hard for me to just do that.
b. Could you identify ways in which public speaking skills and the
discussions we cover in class may help you in your career?
i. Please list those ways and provide concrete examples.
