Introduction
My name is Yaswanth Naraharisetti and I’m a graduate student at Sullivan University.
After completing my Bachelor I joined a reputed Information Technology consulting firm
in India. This is where I have learned all the bits and pieces of technology development
and everything, which goes in the background. I was always fascinated about the whole
process of managing information technology from the business perspective. My experience
as an application developer transformed my interest in information technology in to
passion. After numerous years of working in the information technology field, I decided it
is time to get into field of Managing Information technology specifically managing the
process that involves data gathering, developing and launching. This led to enroll into the
course Masters of Science in Managing Information technology. I signed up for
Managerial Communication Skills and Data Mining and Distributed Computing in the
winter quarter 2014. I am thoroughly impressed with the curriculum structure and course
material. Through these courses, I have learnt many useful topics that can be applied at my
workplace. Both the courses helped me to gain more insight into the managerial aspects of
an organization.
My Work
I’m currently working as an Application Developer at Ford Motor Company, which is one
of the top automobile companies in the USA. I work for 40 hours every week on a fulltime
basis. We have a multiple cultural team with people from different countries and
backgrounds. Also, the work environment is great with people bringing different
