Dear Hiring Manager,
It has caught my attention that McDonald’s has expressed interest in hiring a new assistant
manager. I am very interested in applying for this position and I believe that I possess the
necessary qualifications to be a successful assistant manager. I have been employed by
McDonald’s for five years and that experience makes me an attractive candidate for the
assistant manager position.
As an employee at McDonald’s, I have been exposed to many different situations where I
have learned to adapt and make important decisions. My familiarity with the company will
prove to be invaluable if I am selected to be assistant manager.
I was recently awarded my third employee of the month award by my supervisor, Michael
Nardone, and I am one of the trusted employees at my respective location. In order to
receive this award, I needed to go above and beyond with my work. I arrived early
constantly and stayed later than my shift. I was able to pick up extra shifts when other
employees needed off and my work ethic never dwindled.
My strengths include leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and motivation skills, all of
which are important skills needed to be an assistant manager. I have proven my strengths
in my previous position and I am eager to climb the ranks within the company.
Having been with McDonald’s for the past five years, I am a big believer in the company
