It is with great interest and enthusiasm that I submit my application for the financial representative role with in your
company. I am currently a senior at Southern New Hampshire University and will be graduating on May 9th with a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. I am eager to apply the skills
that I have gained from the classroom, my part-time employment and an internship to grow professionally within a
well-established company. If given the opportunity, I would be honored to begin my career as an integral member
of the Fidelity Investment team.
As a student enrolled in an accelerated honors program while working a part-time job, I am consistently applying
my time management skills, teamwork ability, and strong attention to detail to produce quality work and
successfully meet deadlines. As a part of the program, I am an active participant in weeklong “integrating
experiences” at the end of each semester. These experiences have provided me with the opportunity to serve as an
active member of a team to analyze case studies and solve real-world business challenges under tight time
constraints. At the culmination of each experience, I have applied my strong communication skills to present my
findings to both students and faculty. These experiences have enabled me to learn how to manage my time
effectively, work as a contributing member of a team, and apply my analytical and problem-solving skills to find
innovative solutions to challenging problems.
In addition, my recent internship experience allowed me to apply the skills that I have gained in the classroom
within a business setting. In my role, I was responsible for ensuring that all bank reconciliations were completed in
time for the venues to open. I applied my strong attention to detail and proficiency using Excel to track invoices
and resolve discrepancies in the reconciliations. As a result, I ensured the billing was consistent and decreased the
likelihood of internal theft. Along with my internship I have been a key part of the Under Armour sales associate
team. I have applied my skills in order to provide the best customer service, by making sure the customer’s needs
are met. By doing this I have been able to help the company succeed in their daily goals. I am confident that the
skills that I have gained from these experiences will make me a strong member of the team.
Presently, I am enrolled to start my graduate degree in July in order to get an M.S in accounting and finance. I am
