Irving Valdovinos Courtroom Visit September 20, 2016
In this paper I am going to talk about my September 20, 2016 courtroom visit.
Specifically, I am going to talk about my overall experience, parts of the trial, and
defendants. Monday September 20, 2016 was a typical morning in Orange County the
sky was blue with no clouds insight. I arrived at the Orange County Central Superior
Court in Santa Ana at around nine thirty. I made it just in time for my traffic court
hearing. Fortunately for me the officer was a no show, so the Judge dismissed my carpool
ticket. After my case was dismissed and since I was already in the court I decided to take
the opportunity to observe a criminal court trial.
I observed my first criminal court trail this past summer while interning at the
