COURT ROOM OBSERVATION
On June 13, 2017 (Tuesday), I went to the Surrey Provincial Court which is situated at
the 144 and 57 street. I arrived there at 11:30, this was my first experience to the court
and I never been to any court even in my home country. I don’t even know which
building to enter so I asked the cop who was standing close to me that where should I
go and he was kind person he told me that the “courthouse” is the best place for you.
After entering the building, I asked someone to guide me she was the lady wearing the
lawyer’s dress and she passed me to the sheriff who was hanging near us. Thereafter,
he told me about the court rooms and said go and have a look in any of it. So, I tried to
enter in the room number 101 which is the busiest one according to the sheriff but
unfortunately everybody was getting off the room because it was the lunch time, so the
hearing will start at the 2:00 pm. I tried the other rooms but each room was closed at
this time so ultimately, I have to wait for the time until they start again. Till that time, I
was getting myself familiar with the court atmosphere.
Around 1:40pm people start arriving so I started with the room number 102, at
the moment, I enter the room crown person recognize me as the student he told that we
don’t have anything special so I attend only one case in that room that was something
