ADMS 3530 – Fall 2016 – Detailed Course Schedule (as of Sept 9)
Important Notes:
1. Learnsmart (Smartbook) Assignments (LS) – worth a total 5% of the course grade and
made up of both conceptual and calculation-based questions. These assignments are
designed to be done before your lecture so you are prepared to work through materials
and problems presented in the lecture. (11 LS assignments with lowest mark dropped)
2. Online Quizzes – worth a total 10% of the course grade (11 quizzes with lowest mark
dropped). These quizzes should be completed after the lecture (and have closing dates
after the Help Sessions)
3. Once the Assignments and Quizzes close, they cannot be re-opened, as solutions are
made available immediately upon closing.
4. Assignment 1 and Quiz 1 have an extended deadline of Sept 23 in order to
accommodate students who enroll late.
5. The midterm exam is scheduled for Saturday Oct 22 from 6:30pm to 9pm and will
include material covered in lectures 1 to 5.
