ACC 231 introduces students to the uses of accounting information focusing on the evolution of
the business cycle and how accounting information is used for internal and external purposes
The objectives of this course are for students to: become more familiar with the structure and
content of financial statements; and understand how to use accounting information to make
informed decisions.
